Avilés Warehouse
Steel is the obvious choice of materials for industrial buildings, even more so if it is to be housing steel elements. Port of Brisbane Office Building
If you see a building raised on stilts in a waterside area, the first reaction is always to think that this has been done for flood protection. But, in the case of the new Port of Brisbane Office Building in Brisbane, Australia, the explanation is much simpler. Architect Thomson Adsett raised the three storey building by approximately one storey in order to allow occupants to benefit from the view.
