Cluj Arena Football Stadium
A sleek and impressive curvilinear structure now sits prominently yet comfortably amid the relatively low-level residential and commercial blocks and trees otherwise occupying the Romanian city of Cluj-Napoca.
The new Cluj Arena, built as a symbolic contemporary landmark, is by far the largest and most overtly modern building in this culturally rich university city.

School Het Perron
Educational theories seem to be one of the fastest changing areas of modern life, as educators struggle to help young people fit themselves to our evolving and challenging world. How then can an architect design a building that will stand for at least 30 years, and accommodate change of which we have not even dreamed?

Soweto Theatre
When the sun is setting in Soweto, South Africa, the walls of the new Soweto Theatre glow in a warm gold colour. In fact, these walls are clad in a grey colour, but their double curvature means that they reflect their surroundings, picking up not only the warm tones of the low sun but also the green of nearby trees. This visual richness is simply one manifestation of the wealth of ideas and ambition that are invested in a building that will serve both the local community and the national and international visitors who already come to the township, bringing much needed tourist income.
